As we're about to enter the 2018 is a good time look back the year of 2017. After moving to Barcelona on February I was happy to notice all the outdoor possibilities. Barcelona is surrounded by mountains and just up to north of the city you can find the vast Natural Parc of Collserola. On my previous posts I've wrote about my adventures around Catalonia and the outdoor possibilities in Barcelona earlier. On this post I want to share my favourite hikes and trips of 2017.
Lähestyessämme vuoden loppua on hyvä aika kerrata menneen vuoden parhaat reissut. Barcelonaan muuttaessani oli ilo huomata Katalonian rajattomat ulkoilumahdollisuudet. Vuoristoja on joka puolella, kuten kaupungin pohjoispuolelta löytyvä Collserolan luonnon puisto. Tässä postauksessa on tiivistelmä parhaista reissuistamme vuonna 2017.
COLLSEROLA & LES PLANES
The best hikes here have been shared. The first long one we made with new friends right after I moved to Barcelona on March. Next one I was with another friend on a hot sunny day in summer. The last time we went with my boyfriend in November. I've seen the parc during all seasons. I love going back as it's so close and the're plenty of routes to choose from.
Parhaat reissut täällä olen viettänyt yhdessä. Ensimmäinen pitkä reissu tehtiin uusien kavereiden kanssa muutettuani tänne. Kävelimme Les Planes - Collserola -Barcelona akselilla. Seuraavan teimme kaverin kanssa kuumana kesäpäivänä. Viimeiseksi kerraksi tälle vuodelle jäi poikakaverin kanssa kävelty reissu Marraskuussa. Olen käynyt puistossa myös yksin juoksemassa ja olen nähnyt sen jokaisena vuodenaikana. Pidän siitä kovasti, sillä se on lähellä ja siellä on lukematon määrä reittejä.
MONTSENY
Montseny was my first trip on motorbike. It made me fell in love with the life on two wheels and those mountains of Catalunya. Since then we've been to Montseny area another time in November. We went on top of a high view point and it was freezing up there. So we decided to wait until next year or to buy some warmer clothes.
Montsenyyn tein ensimmäisen reissuni moottoripyörän kyydissä. Maisemat olivat uskomattomat kuten seurakin. Se avasi silmäni Katalonian kauneudelle ja sai minut janoamaan lisää seikkailuja. Kävimme Montsenyn alueelle toisen kerran Marraskuussa. Tuuli oli näköalapaikalla niin kylmä, että päätimme odottaa kevääseen tai hankkia paremmat varusteet.
LAGUNA
This time we didn't do hiking but we drove almost to Andorra to the lake Pantá de la Llosa del Cavall situated in the natural park of Serres de Busa-els Bastets-Lord. The views were amazing all the way to and off the place. We are eager to go all the way to Andorra next year.
Tälläkertaa teimme pienen reissun vesistölle n. 2h päähän pohjoiseen lähelle Pyreneitä. Maisemat jäivät mieleen. Sekä ajon aikana, että Laguunilla maisemat olivat uskomattomat. Tiet olivat mutkaisia, joka teki motoilusta vieläkin hauskempaa.
L'ABERÉ / Dolmen de Ana Christina
The cherry on the top was our camping trip to the borders of France on September. Still regarding it as the best trip for a long time. The views, the company, the struggle and oh so sweet silence. It was a trip to remember!
Säästin parhaan viimeiseksi. Elikkä meidän telttailureissu Ranskan ja Espanjan rajalle. Edelleen yksi parhaista reissustani joita olen tehnyt. Seura, vuoret, maisemat ja se ihana leireilyn haastavuus!
2017 has been full of new adventures and enjoying the time outdoors. This year I’ve found out that I’m not that cosmopolitan city girl I always thought I’d be. I was raised in a little town and we spent a lot of time outdoors and exploring Finnish Lapland with my family. After finding the joy of traveling on motorbike (gracias a mi motero) the nature has become more reachable. We have the liberty to escape the metropol whenever there’s time. Already waiting for our new outdoor adventures the new year 2018 brings!
2017 on ollut vuosi täynnä seikkailuja. Tänä vuonna olen saanut taas huomata etten ole se cosmopoliitti kaupunkilaisnainen, jota olen luullut. Olen kasvanut pienessä kaupungissa, jossa luonto on ollut aina läsnä. Perheemme kanssa olemme viettäneet paljon aikaa luonnossa niin Lapissa kuin ympäri Pohjois- ja Keski-Suomea. Löydettyäni moottoripyöräilyn ilot (kiitos poikaystävä-motoristille) luonto on tullut lähemmäksi myös Barcelonassa asuessani. En malta odottaa kaikkia niitä uusia reissuja mitä vuosi 2018 tuo tullessaan!
